Jurgen HornJürgen Horn was born in Munich, Germany and relocated to Texas with his parents when he was a young boy. He went to school in Texas and spent the summers in Germany with his grandparents. So he experienced the best of both worlds, which greatly shaped his artistic vision.

Throughout his seventeen years as a professional keyboard player he has mastered many styles such as rock, funk, R & B, jazz, and country. Some of the more notable gigs in Jürgen’s career include playing for the Dallas Cowboys at their 2010 Christmas Party and opening for Heart, Willy Nelson, and many other national acts. He is a self taught musician that also had the privilege of studying jazz and classical music at University of North Texas.

While at the university he also studied computer programming to expand on his already impressive computer skills that grew from having a father that was a computer programmer and sharing his passion for computers. That passion would serve Jürgen well when he decided to include audio engineering to his list of skills. What started out as a hobby and a means to create his own demos soon became a passion and he opened his own studio, Jürgen Horn Productions. In his studio he has written and produced music for clients such as Coca-Cola, Proctor & Gamble, Kroger, and many others. Jürgen has engineered and produced many radio commercials for clients like AT&T, Whataburger, and Cartoon Network. He won a Telly award for music composition for a T.V. commercial for The Partnership For A Drug Free America. He has also won two national Silver Microphone awards for producing and engineering a radio ad campaign for One Stop Convenient Stores. Jürgen has also worked with artists such as Kirk Franklin and Kelly Clarkson.

When he is not working on his client’s projects, Jürgen is busy with his own band, Inversity. His singles are on iTunes and a CD is in the works. Inversity is a blend of classic rock and electronica, or in other words old school meets new school. As a respected member of the Dallas music scene, Jürgen has access to the best musicians and he makes no compromises. As principal writer, producer, and engineer, his motto is, “The day I’m happy with my playing is the day I quit.”
